AI in the medium-sized business. Which projects have already been implemented? That’s what the AI Lab Demo Day on 21 November 2024 in Heidelberg was all about.

Emanuel Stefan and Sylvia Grünewald accepted Paul Becker’s invitation and listened to seven medium-sized companies from the region talk about how their AI projects have got off the ground in practice.

We were able to present the company weyp and its paipz® solution on site. The discussions on how data treasures can be extracted from PDF documents and what benefits they bring were very inspiring for us.

Thank you for the many good discussions and the valuable feedback on our solution, which we can directly take into account in our further development.

The conclusion we took away from the event

The willingness to use AI is there. It is important to start in manageable steps, gain experience and continue to move forward. Many technical applications are already available and are developing at a rapid pace. With the gradual use of AI, confidence in the technology grows and the fear is lost.
